It's been a while since I have posted anything. We have been super busy at WBA for a couple of months now. With 4 Board & Train's back to back, plus 3 and 4 clients for private lessons a day, it has been pretty crazy around here for sure. I don't even have time to eat most days until late in the evening while I am doing paper work.
But I love every minute of my job, and wouldn't want to do anything else. I only wish I had started Dog Training sooner! What a rewarding job I have!! I am always so proud of all of the puppies, dogs, and their handlers who come to the Academy. They are all special in their own way, and each has their own unique personality. I love them all, and hate to see them go when their training is over. Some do sign up for another training package, and keep coming back. It makes my heart swell with pride when a client wants to sign up for more classes, knowing that they believe in me and my force-free training techniques enough to want to come back. That's one more dog I have saved from being trained adversively. Another dog who will know the joy of being trained with love, kindness, and gentleness. And for me, that's what it's all about.
