Hi, Peanut here! Haley is usually the one who get's to tell about our day, but she is taking a nap right now, so I decided to do it for her.
We had a GREAT day today! The sun was shining, there was a nice breeze, and it wasn't super hot. We trained at the Academy, played ball, and went fishing! It was awesome!! Well, we didn't actually go fishing, as in catching fish. Mom has a stuffing-less Pheasant on a fishing pole, and she throws it across the yard, and then reels it back in as we chase after it. It's Gracie's favorite game to play, and she will do almost anything to get to go fishing with mom.
Mom has this really cool Platypus egg thingy that goes inside a momma Platypus, and the egg thingy has a squeaker in it. She rolled it across the floor and I ran after it as fast as I could. Then I grabbed it up and went "squeak, squeak, squeak, all the way back to mom, so she could throw it again. I really love playing fetch. Mom says I would probably play until I passed out. I think she's probably right about that!
Mom said we did really good in training today. She taught me how to "speak" with a hand signal today. I thought she hated my barking, but it turns out she likes it so much, that she wants me to do it more! Actually, I know what she's up too. She thinks she is going to teach me to "speak" and then teach me "quiet", so I won't bark so much. Ain't gonna work! Ha ha! I love to "speak". I speak ALL day long. I tell on my brother and sisters when they are wrestling, or into something they shouldn't be. I let everybody know when the mailman comes, UPS, and even when the neighbor's come and go. Heck, I let everybody know when anything moves, or makes a sound inside and out! It's a big responsibility, especially when you only weigh 13 pounds. Sometimes though, I bark just to make Gracie, Haley, and Sampson run to the door to see what's going on outside! It sure is fun being able to make 3 big dogs jump up and start barking, at nothing! Ha ha.
I think mom wants me to be "quiet" again. She said if I talked as much as I barked, this post would never be finished. I don't think that was very nice. But I guess I better go now. I see her giving me some kind of signal, and I don't think I like it. Until next time - Woof! Woof!
